Education at a Glance 2013, an annual report by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), was recently launched, which analyses the education systems of the 34 OECD member countries. In addition to its members this analysis also extends to the following countries: Argentina, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Russia, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.
The report sums up and identifies the main challenges for education systems, and confirms the importance of policies that aim to modernise them and increase opportunities for young people to study or train abroad.
