On the 22nd of May the European Commission brought forward this Communication that is part of a new package of measures towards the construction of the European Education Area 2025, in response to the European Council of December 2017, aiming to reinforce EU policies and cooperation in the areas of education, youth and culture.
In the field of Higher Education the measures proposed are a Council Recommendation for Automatic Recognition, the “European Universities” and the European Student Card.
