The EU high-level group on modernisation of higher education published on the 22nd October its second report that this time looks at new modes of learning and teaching in higher education. The group, chaired by former President of Ireland Mary McAleese, makes 15 recommendations that highlight the need for better targeting of resources to promote the development and use of more flexible digital learning and teaching methods in higher education.
